“What was that?” he accused.
“Nothing, we were just talking.”
“Whatever.” Christian actually started to storm away, leaving me
standing alone like a fool in the middle of the tea garden.
I grabbed his arm and told him to wait.
“Nothing is ever going to change, is it? You're always going to be
a drug dealer and you're always going to be a drug addict.”
“Christian, wait.”
“You can say my name but you'll never
be a Christian.”
